Fabricated Ahadith and man-made Fiqah have been used as a main source of current Islamic Sharia Law to promote the polytheists’ religion of moon god.

Dr. Abu Umar Faruq Ahmad, Associate Professor at UBD School of Business and Economics, University Brunei Darussalam left the following comment on my previous post “SALAT UL FAJAR, SALAT UL ISHA, AND SALAT UL WASTA”

‘if you belive in Prophetic Traditions and his practice in his lifetome of 5 time daily prayers you will never raise this question. Hadith Jibril that came in many authentic hadith books is enough to prove 5 time obligatory prayers a day. please don’t spread fitnah in the ummah. If you are not a Shari’ah scholar having excellent command of Arabic to be able to deduce rulings from all the sources of Shari’ah then this not your subject to discuss.’

My reply to the above comments is as follows:

Dear Dr. Abu Umar Faruq Ahmad,

You really need to learn the Quran because this is the Quran alone which brought Islam when it was revealed on our beloved prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Giving the name “Hadith Jibril” to man-made books is an open violation and blasphemy of the Quran, the Gospel, the Torah, the Psalms and rest of the revealed books of God, which were brought by angel Jibril (Gabriel). The Quran says in the verse 39:23 “اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا Allah has revealed the best Hadith book and in the verse 77:50 Allah said “فَبِأَيِّ حَدِيثٍ بَعْدَهُ يُؤْمِنُونَSo then in which Hadith do they believe after this, and in so many other verses Quran has been called HADITH. Therefore, if the Quran was brought by “Jibril” (Gabriel) and the same Quran is also called “Hadith”, the title of “Hadith Jibril” cannot be given to any man-made material. However, if you are still adamant in using the word “Hadith Jibril” to man-made books, you have no connection with Islam because you’re claiming that the status of man-made books is the same as the scriptures revealed through Jibril (Gabriel).

Furthermore, the true sayings of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) exist in the Quran itself hence the Quran declares itself to be a book of saying of the Prophet (pbuh)“إِنَّهُ لَقَوْلُ رَسُولٍ كَرِيمٍ” (69:40) “it is also saying of noble messenger”.

The true practice of the Prophet is found only in the Quran because Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) never went against the teaching of the Quran. Quran itself quotes the true statement of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) in the verse 10:15 “مَا يَكُونُ لِي أَنْ أُبَدِّلَهُ مِن تِلْقَاءِ نَفْسِي إِنْ أَتَّبِعُ إِلاَّ مَا يُوحَى إِلَيَّ It is not to me that I make any change from myself as I only follow what is revealed to me.

So, the prophet (pbuh) used to follow the Quran alone and Allah also urges us to follow the Quran alone, (47:2) “وَآمَنُوا بِمَا نُزِّلَ عَلَى مُحَمَّدٍ وَهُوَ الْحَقُّ مِن رَّبِّهِمْ And accept what has been revealed upon Muhammad and this is the only truth from their Lord. Thus, the same Quran also confirms that the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) did not leave any instruction except the Quran.  The education, preaching, instruction or Sunnah of the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was not different from the instructions of the Quran, (6:19) “وَأُوحِيَ إِلَيَّ هَذَا الْقُرْآنُ لِأُنذِرَكُم بِهِ And revealed to me this Quran to instruct/notify you through this.

In the verse 12:1 Quran has been called “الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ”, in the verse 15:1 the Quran is called “قُرْآنٍ مُّبِينٍ”, in the verse 28:2 the Quran is called “الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ”, in the verse 43:2 Quran is again called “الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ”, then in the verse 44:2 Quran is called “الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ”. Hence, the definite noun “الْمُبِينُ” in the verse 29:18 refers the Quran. Therefore the verse “وَمَا عَلَى الرَّسُولِ إِلَّا الْبَلَاغُ الْمُبِينُ” (29:18) makes it clear that it is not upon the messenger to announce, to preach, to notify or publish anything except the Quran.

Allah urged the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) to deliver from the Quran alone, (18:27) “وَاتْلُ مَا أُوحِيَ إِلَيْكَ مِن كِتَابِ رَبِّكَ لاَ مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِهِ And deliver what is caused to reveal towards you, from the Book of your Lord none can change His Words. Allah strictly told the prophet (pbuh) of not imposing on people anything from his side except what is reminded in the Quran, (45:50) “وَمَا أَنتَ عَلَيْهِم بِجَبَّارٍ فَذَكِّرْ بِالْقُرْآنِ And with not putting your enforcement on them just remind them through the Quran. This is because Allah does not associate anyone in his law, ruling or command, (18:26) “وَلاَ يُشْرِكُ فِي حُكْمِهِ أَحَدًاHe does not involve anyone in His order, command, ruling or law.

Now, I am coming towards the Sharia. According to you rulings are deduced from all the sources of Shari’ah in which you did not count the Quran as a source of ruling.

However, Allah has stopped us following clergy and their laws and urged us to follow the Quran alone, (7:3) “اتَّبِعُواْ مَا أُنزِلَ إِلَيْكُم مِّن رَّبِّكُمْ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعُواْ مِن دُونِهِ أَوْلِيَاءَ Follow, what has been caused to reveal towards you from your Lord and do not follow from turbaned authorities. Allah called those people KAFIR (nonbelievers) who believe or follow any other source of law except the Quran (5:44) “وَمَن لَّمْ يَحْكُم بِمَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ فَأُوْلَـئِكَ هُمُ الْكَافِرُونَAnd whoever from you do not enforce with law which has been caused to reveal inclusively are KAFIR (nonbelievers) because (2:213) “وَأَنزَلَ مَعَهُمُ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ لِيَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ The revealed book is the only true authority of law among people.

Allah has said in the Quran against the man-made Sharia law, (6:114)” أَفَغَيْرَ اللّهِ أَبْتَغِي حَكَمًا وَهُوَ الَّذِي أَنْزَلَ إِلَيْكُمُ الْكِتَابَ مُفَصَّلاً  What is the need to have ruling other than Allah’s Who caused to reveal towards you a detailed book? Furthermore, Allah has made His book the Quran an authority of His law, which decides among the people, (4:105) “إِنَّا أَنزَلْنَا إِلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ بِالْحَقِّ لِتَحْكُمَ بَيْنَ النَّاسِ That our revealed book towards you is the prerogative authority for ruling among the people.

Allah has condemned the application of law from sources other than the Quran and strictly addressed this matter in the Quran (68:36)” مَا لَكُمْ كَيْفَ تَحْكُمُونWhat’s the matter with you how are you applying law? , “أَمْ لَكُمْ كِتَابٌ فِيهِ تَدْرُسُونَ” (68:37) Or is there an alternative book for you in which you have been schooling!

Allah said in the Quran (16:89) “وَنَزَّلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ تِبْيَانًا لِّكُلِّ شَيْءٍ And our revealed book towards you clearly explains everything. Allah further explains that His law gives complete and true justice and there is no other alternative source of law, (6:115) “وَتَمَّتْ كَلِمَتُ رَبِّكَ صِدْقًا وَعَدْلاً لاَّ مُبَدِّلَ لِكَلِمَاتِهِ And your Lord’s charter is complete truthful and lawfully just there is no alternative for His constitution. Rejecting all other sources Allah finally said,“أَوَلَمْ يَكْفِهِمْ أَنَّا أَنزَلْنَا عَلَيْكَ الْكِتَابَ ” (29:51) And is it not enough for them that we have sent down to thee the Book (Yousuf Ali),  And is it not sufficient for them that We revealed to you the Book (H/K/Saheeh).

Therefore, that which is not mentioned in the Quran is satanic invention in Islam because the Quran is complete and Allah did not forget to mention in the Quran what is found in so called Islamic literature outside the Quran including other sources of Sharia, (19:64) “وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّاAnd your Lord never forgets. Furthermore, if Allah did not mention in His book what is mentioned in Hadith, Fiqah (jurisprudence) and Sharia, it is not from Allah but an evil addition in Islam because Allah does not have any shortage of words. So if Allah wanted to, He could have included in the Quran, what has been invented in the Sharia law and its many other man-made sources. (31:27) “مَّا نَفِدَتْ كَلِمَاتُ اللَّهِAllah’s words never run out.

In the light of the above verses of the Quran those who follow other than Allah’s law are nonbelievers KAFIR and their Sharia is a forbidden evil practice which is based on the sources outside the Quran. The true Sharia is only Allah’s Sharia which is mentioned in the Quran alone and the same Sharia was practiced and promoted by our beloved prophet Muhammad (pbuh).

If Salah (صلاۃ) is a Namaz its units and method should have been mentioned in the Quran because according to Allah the Quran is a complete and detailed book and nothing is left outside the Quran, (6:38) “مَّا فَرَّطْنَا فِي الكِتَابِ مِن شَيْءٍWe did not leave anything out of this book.

We have also seen in the above verses of the Quran that Allah never forgets, (19:64) “وَمَا كَانَ رَبُّكَ نَسِيًّاAnd your Lord never forgets. If this verse of the Quran is true then how has Allah forgotten to mention in the Quran the details of units of each Namaz and illustrations of postures made during Namaz, especially if Allah has made Namaz a pillar of Islam?

Therefore, either you enter the Islam fully by accepting the complete Quran, believing in all verses and each single word of the Quran or simply don’t call yourself a Muslim if you are going to involve other sources of law (man-made Sharia) with the Sharia (law) of Allah. (18:26) “وَلاَ يُشْرِكُ فِي حُكْمِهِ أَحَدًاHe does not involve anyone in His order, command, ruling or law.

(2:208) Enter into Islam whole-heartedly; and follow not the footsteps of the evil one; for he is to you an avowed enemy (Translation Yousuf Ali)
